The Sakharov Prize is awarded since 1988 by the European Parliament to honour individuals or organizations who have dedicated their lives to the defence of Human Rights and liberties, including freedom of expression. The first Sakharov prize was awarded to Nelson Mandela.
We propose that an exceptional Sakharov price be attributed to Charlie Hebdo as soon as possible.
