Tony Meloto, a « radical optimist », proves an equitable world is possible, through GK spectacular action (1 million Filipinos already out of poverty in 10 years ; 5 million families and 500 000 social entrepreneurs planned before 2025 !) With him, we believe that we can act all together, even in France, towards a better world for all, if we trust the young and build attractive life opportunities for the « left behind ». Poor people, criminals,… are persons first, in search of meaning and full of unexpected resources. We can turn their energy, their initiatives, their values through a shared activity to the general interest of the community.
Tony Meloto is convinced the world will be better in 2050 : « kinder, fairer, safer, happier ». It begins with a personal revolution where guilt and victimisation have no place and where helped people become helping people. His « Road map to a positive economy is :
1. Adopt a Build Philosophy that connects with the good in everyone, that does not see anyone as an enemy, a victim or a prey. Together we can create prosperity, build peace, end poverty.
2. Value people as the greatest wealth of any nation, including thieves and drug addicts who can be transformed with love from liabilities to assets, from burdens to blessings. Knowledge is garbage if it is not used to help the blind see, the lost to find their way, for the captives to be free.
3. Nurture a business culture of caring and sharing, of justice and peace between rich and poor so no one will remain poor. Profit is a loss if business over-pays top executives but lower-rank workers are underpaid and under-fed.
