The only “crime” committed by Ukrainians was to choose Europe and its values:
For their citizens to have the right to discharge their elected officials when they are dissatisfied with them.
For the right to information and the right to express their opinions free of fear of persecution or retaliation.
For the possibility to work without having to share the fruits of their labour with corrupt local officials.
For a social and environmental covenant which guarantees a good life for all.
Today, the fears, the tears and the hopes of Ukrainian citizens are felt by all 450 million Europeans!
