The English version of the Terms of Service is proposed for informational purposes only. The French version (France) prevails in case of discrepancies or errors in its translation.
Wesign.it is a website allowing individuals or organizations ("Author of the petition") to publish a petition, and individuals to sign petitions ("Petition signatories"). It also allows petition signatories to be informed of the outcome of the petition and of the launch of petitions on similar themes.
In accordance with Article 6 of Law No. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004, Wesign.it lists clearly below the identity of the various stakeholders in the implementation and monitoring of the website:

Content of agreement:
This agreement defines the terms and conditions of use as well as the manner in which Wesign.it offers services to its users. These services are presented on the website available at the following address: www.wesign.it. Using the website means acceptance of these terms.
In accordance with the law dated January 6, 1978 amended in 2004, you have a right to access and rectify information concerning you. You can exercise that right by sending an email to contact [AT] wesign.it.
You can also, for legitimate reasons, oppose the processing of data about you. The site is being recorded to the CNIL.
Author of a petition
All content posted by the author of a petition on Wesign.it is under its sole responsibility. The author commits not to send any content that infringes the rights of others, or is defamatory, offensive, abusive, obscene, violent or promoting violence, racism and xenophobia, and in general any content infringing laws and regulations.
In case of violation of one or more of the above rules, Wesign.it reserves the right to delete the account of the author of the petition, without compensation or refund.
The author of a petition may at any time contact Wesign.it to stop it from being visible on the website.
Signatory of a petition
The content posted by the signatory of a petition on Wesign.it is under his sole responsibility. The information requested is the name or nickname, e-mail address, postal code, country, and optionally a message. By providing such personal information, the signatory explicitly agree to the processing of his data by Wesign.it. If the signatory does not want to provide such information, he should not sign the petition.
The signatory commits not to send, through this information, any content that infringes the rights of others, or is defamatory, offensive, abusive, obscene, violent or promoting violence, racism and xenophobia, and in general any content infringing laws and regulations. In case of violation of one or more of the above rules, Wesign.it reserves the right not to display and/or to delete the information sent by the signatory, without compensation or refund.
The personal information sent by the signatory to Wesign.it is not disclosed to third parties but is occasionally used to inform you by e-mail about the signed petition and related topics. If the signatory does not wish to receive e-mails, he should uncheck the box "I agree to receive information from the petitioner and We Sign It’s partners."
Among the personal information provided by the signatory, only the name or nickname, postal code and country are temporarily visible on the website in the category "Recent signatories". If the signatory does not wish to receive this information, he should uncheck the box "My name or nickname can appear on the website."
Access to certain areas of the site is protected by a login ID. A cookie is used to allow the user to return to these areas of the site without having to retype his login ID, or to optimize the user’s experience. Cookies may also be used to analyze the audience, but without identifying the user. The user who disables cookies in the settings of his browser may be unable to access certain areas of the site.
Change in the terms
Some services of this website come with a fee. Wesign.it reserves the right to modify or change at any time the site pages, the services offered, the pricing or terms and conditions applicable to them. Continuing to use the site after changes related to terms and conditions have been posted, means that you explicitly agree to the said changes. The amount and terms of payment for the paid services are available on the pages presenting the services, or at the latest when the service is about to start being used.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Wesign.it cannot be held responsible for third-party services offered on the site. In case of failure or technicalor financial problems, third parties are solely responsible for the consequences for the users.
Use of this website is entirely at the risk of the visitor. Each author of a petition, signatory of a petition or site visitor is responsible for his behavior and interactions.
Wesign.it does not guarantee that the services can operate continuously without interruption or error. In particular, its functioning may be momentarily interrupted for maintenance, updates or technical improvements, or to change the content and / or the lay-out.
Wesign.it may provide, or third parties may provide, links to other websites or other Internet sources. Wesign.it can not be held responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and assumes no responsibility for the content, advertising, products, services or other material made available from such sites or external sources.
In any event, the overall responsibility of Wesign.it is limited to the amount actually paid by the users of the related paid service.
Wesign.it cannot be held responsible for the accuracy or inaccuracy of the information and content provided by authors and signatories of petitions.
Wesign.it may disclose information about users having infringed the law, or the rights of other parties, if required to do so by law, to respond to court orders, or other legal process, and to law enforcement officers.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms of Service shall be governed, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of France. The courts of the city of Paris (France) will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute related to the present agreement, including, but not limited to, their validity, interpretation, execution and / or termination and its consequences.
